Background The 147 Attack Wing Base Contracting Office is responsible for the maintenance and inspection of four MQ-9 Aircraft. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and operational readiness of these aircraft through load testing of essential lifting equipment. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set Aside, emphasizing the agency's commitment to supporting small businesses in fulfilling its mission. Work Details The contractor shall perform load testing on all specified equipment, which includes: - 2 wing slings - 4 propeller straps - 2 center of gravity tools - 2 engine lift fixtures - 2 4ft straps - 2 30ft straps - 1 1/2 ton lifting beam (totaling 15 items). The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary labor, parts, tools, paint, test equipment, and appliances. All work must comply with international, federal, state, and local building codes. The contractor must complete load testing annually according to provided documentation (1Q-9(M)A-2-4) and identify any discrepancies found during testing. Deliverables include a certificate or documentation of the results for all tested equipment. Period of Performance The contractor shall complete all work within fifteen (15) calendar days after receipt of equipment. Performance shall begin within 30 days after notice of award.
