Tennis Court Resurfacing

Background

The Board of Regents of The University of Oklahoma is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide services for the resurfacing of tennis courts. The University aims to maintain its athletic facilities and ensure they meet quality standards for use by students and the community.

Work Details

The contractor will provide labor, equipment, and materials to remove paint from, repair, and resurface a total of eighteen (18) concrete tennis courts: twelve (12) outdoor courts and six (6) indoor courts. This includes all walking paths associated with the courts. Specific tasks include filling concrete joints on outdoor courts. The University prefers to award the contract to a single supplier but reserves the right to award multiple contracts if deemed beneficial.

The contract is expected to commence upon award and will continue until all work is completed, with specific timelines outlined in the proposal submissions.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at The University of Oklahoma's athletic facilities located in Norman, Oklahoma.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must demonstrate experience in tennis court resurfacing projects, particularly with multi-court athletic facilities. They must provide references from similar projects and comply with insurance requirements as specified in the solicitation documents. Bidders are also required to certify that they are not debarred or suspended from receiving federal funds.
