Background

This Invitation to Bid (ITB) seeks to establish carpet cleaning services at facilities located throughout Pinellas County. The mission of Pinellas County Government is to provide superior public service and manage public resources effectively to meet the needs of its citizens. The resulting agreement will ensure that scheduled and on-demand carpet extraction, spot treatment, stain remediation, odor control, and related floor care services are provided to maintain safe, clean, and professional environments across County facilities.

Work Details

The contractor will provide the following services: - Scheduled and on-demand carpet extraction - Spot treatment - Stain remediation - Odor control - Related floor care services necessary for maintaining cleanliness in various County facilities. These facilities include administrative, judicial, operational, and public service buildings across Pinellas County. The contractor must adhere to approved cleaning methodologies and service frequencies that range from semi-annual to annual based on facility type and demand.

Period of Performance

The contract will be for a period of 36 months with the possibility of extension for two additional 12-month periods. Pricing adjustments may occur annually based on the Consumer Price Index or a maximum of 5%, whichever is less.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various locations throughout Pinellas County including but not limited to the Pinellas County Courthouse Annex Building in Clearwater, FL.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all local, state, and federal laws applicable to this solicitation. Contractors must be registered with the Florida Division of Corporations and comply with E-Verify requirements. Additionally, contractors must provide proof of insurance as specified in the solicitation documents.
