Janitorial Services for the Cherokee County Health Dept.

Background

The South Carolina Department of Public Health (DPH) is seeking qualified vendors to establish a contract for janitorial services at the Cherokee County Health Department. The goal of this contract is to maintain a safe, sanitary, and aesthetically pleasing environment for the health department's operations.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for providing complete and efficient janitorial services, which include all labor, supervision, equipment, and cleaning materials necessary to fulfill the requirements outlined in the Scope of Work. Specific tasks may include routine cleaning, waste disposal, restroom sanitation, floor care, and other related services as detailed in the solicitation.

Period of Performance

The estimated period of performance for the contract is from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2031. The contract will initially be for one year with four optional one-year renewals, allowing for a maximum term of five years.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at the Cherokee County Health Department located at 400 South Logan Street, Gaffney, SC 29342.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must have a state vendor number to submit an offer. Additionally, to qualify for preferences such as Resident Contractor Preference or Resident Subcontractor Preference, bidders must maintain an office in South Carolina and employ individuals domiciled in the state who will perform services required by the solicitation.
