Background The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO8) Orlando VA Healthcare System (OVAHS) is soliciting quotations from contractors to provide Data and Voice cabling services for the Orlando VA main campus and its Outpatient Clinics. The goal of this contract is to ensure the installation, removal, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and certification of cabling infrastructure across OVAHCS facilities. This solicitation is set aside for 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and services necessary to install various types of cabling infrastructure including voice, data, fiber-optic, coaxial, basic audio/video (A/V), and standard security/access control cabling. Specific tasks include: 1. Complete installations and repairs of cabling per the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and referenced standards. 2. Test and certify all installed cabling with standards-compliant instruments; submit electronic reports for acceptance. 3. Maintain safety standards in compliance with OSHA regulations and ensure worksite cleanliness. 5. Comply with VA OIT Infrastructure Standards throughout the project lifecycle.
