This announcement constitutes a Source Sought Synopsis and seeks information from industry and will only be used for preliminary planning purposes. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. The Jacksonville District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking interest from prospective bidders for a potential fiscal year (FY) 2027 award of the aforementioned project. The purpose of this synopsis is to gauge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of the Construction Community, to include Small Businesses, as the Government must ensure there is adequate competition amongst the potential pool of responsible contractors. The proposed project will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The Jacksonville Districts anticipates the issuance of an Invitation for Bid (IFB). No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to said synopsis or any follow-up information requested.The Jacksonville District of the US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking interested bidders for a project work that will renourish shoreline in Broward County, between Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Range Monuments the northern portion Reach 1 (R-25 to R-36), Reach 2 (R-36 to R-43), and Reach 4 (R-51-R-72). The sand for the project will be sourced from an upland sand mine. Select upland source(s) meeting criteria required in Section 35 20 24.00 35 BEACH FILL (TRUCK HAUL) and listed as approved within environmental resource agency permits. See Section 01 57 20.00 35 ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION. Project work also includes, but is not limited to, beach tilling, vibration control and monitoring, turbidity monitoring, and environmental species monitoring.The Target Price Range is between $20,000,000.00 and $40,000,000.00. The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within SIXTY (60) calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP), (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 30 April 2028 and be off the beach. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises.The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 237990 (Exception), Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities. The Small Business Size Standard for this project is $45 Million. Anticipated solicitation issuance date is on or about 28 September 2026 and the anticipated response date is on or about 28 October 2026. Responses to this Synopsis shall be limited to 7 pages and shall include the following information:1. Company/Contractor name, address, point of contact, phone number and e-mail address.2.
