Background The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is issuing a contract for a Wetland Reserve Easement (WRE) Repair project along Mt. Perry Road in Madison Township, Perry County, Ohio. This project is part of the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program aimed at restoring and protecting wetlands. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Mobilization and Demobilization; 2. Excavation of 3,196 cubic yards (CY) of wetland dike; 3. Earth Fill of 3,192 CY; 4. Installation of Rock Riprap - ODOT Type D + Bedding, totaling 686 CY; 5. Seeding, sprigging, and mulching over an area of 1.38 acres. The contractor must provide all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and materials necessary to perform the work while adhering to industry standards and all applicable laws. Period of Performance The contract performance period is from July 31, 2026, to September 16, 2026.
