This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation package is available. However, firms that believe they can provide equipment or service that fully meets the Government's requirements may submit substantiating documentation to the identified point of contact within 5 days after publication of this synopsis. Such documentation will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Biloxi, Mississippi 39530-3816, United States This is to confirm Mississippi State Port Authority has designated Swetman Security Services, Inc. as the only vendor which is authorized to open and secure their facilities. NOAA requires Extend East gate security hours from 0600-1800 Monday-Friday to 24 hours per day while NOAA vessels are in port. The Roger F. Wicker center lies within Mississippi State Port Authority's Port of Gulfport. The Port of Gulfport has three gates, West (main), East and North. NOAA berthing is closest the East gate. All gates are operated by security guards from Swetman Security. Swetman Security is the sole provider of gate and rover security services to the Port of Gulfport. Other security companies and guards are not permitted to man the entrance gates.
