Background The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for a Cloud-Based Laboratory network software platform, specifically seeking a solution that is brand name or equal to MediaLab. The goal of this contract is to procure a document control system that will warehouse, catalog, manage, and provide employee access to standard operating procedures and related documents for the Mann Grandstaff VAMC Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (PLMS) and associated Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). This procurement is driven by Joint Commission regulations requiring continual updates and easy access to laboratory policies and procedures. Work Details The vendor shall provide all labor, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary for the installation and training of the software within 90 days of award. Key requirements include: 1. An internet/cloud-based document control system with single sign-on capability. 2. Unlimited access for any computer 24/7/365 with a maximum response time of 15 minutes to 2 hours for Priority 1 issues. 3. A minimum of 99% annual operational uptime with complete data retrieval capabilities and backup solutions. 4. A user-friendly interface that is customizable and allows for multiple permission levels. 5. Traceability features to track user actions on documents. 6. Management capabilities for the entire lifecycle of documents including creation, editing, approval, issuance, and archiving. 7. The ability to generate customizable reports and site usage analytics. 8. Compliance with various regulatory standards including AABB, CAP, FDA, EPA, ISO 15189, CLIA regulations, and JC accreditation standards.
