This is a non-personal services contract to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, and other items and non-personal services necessary to support JCLC Island Venture from 7-12 June 2026.
Background This contract is issued by the Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) to support the Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC) Patriot Shands 2026, which will take place from June 7 to June 12, 2026, in Hawthorne, Florida. The JROTC program aims to instill values of citizenship and leadership among high school students. The camp is designed to provide a comprehensive training experience for JROTC cadets and cadre from various schools, requiring a range of facilities and services. Work Details The contractor is responsible for providing all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other necessary non-personal services for the JCLC Patriot Shands event. Specific tasks include: - Providing meals for 45 cadets and 40 cadre starting with lunch on June 7 and for 315 cadets and 75 cadre from June 8 to June 12. - Providing lodging accommodations for 45 cadets and 40 cadre starting on June 7 and for 315 cadets and 75 cadre from June 8 to June 12. - Ensuring all training facilities are available to support scheduled events. - Offering opportunities for cadets to practice leadership skills in unfamiliar environments. - Facilitating citizenship-building exercises along with STEM activities. - Instructing leadership-type skills in a hands-on military environment. - Providing adventure training not typically available to JROTC cadets. - Supplying medical support including at least one doctor or physician’s assistant and two nurses on duty during training hours.
