Background The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) is issuing this solicitation for services related to the cleaning and inspection of fuel tanks aboard the USCGC Robert Yered (WPC 1104). The goal of the contract is to ensure that the fuel tanks are properly cleaned and inspected to maintain operational readiness and compliance with safety regulations. This solicitation is a Small Business Set-Aside, emphasizing the importance of engaging small businesses in fulfilling government contracts. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform Fuel Tank Cleaning while docked at USCG Base Miami Beach. Specific tasks include: 1. Cleaning and inspecting various fuel tanks as detailed in the scope of work, including but not limited to: - Fuel Oil Service Tanks (1S, 1P, 2S, 2P) - Emergency Generator Fuel Tank - Fuel Oil Storage Tanks - Oily Water and Dirty Oil Tanks 2.
