Background UT-Battelle, LLC is the Management & Operations contractor for the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) located in Oak Ridge, TN. The Company is seeking a request for interest and information for the delivery of a High Voltage Cabinet in support of a Department of Energy (DOE) funded project. Work Details The scope of work includes procurement of commercially available components, fabrication, assembly, inspections, testing, and delivery of an Ion Source High Voltage Cabinet. This cabinet consists of two independent cabinets integrated into a single enclosure: the 'Ion Source Cabinet' and the 'High Voltage Platform'. The cabinets will be modular with independent structures designed to ensure mechanical and electrical integrity. Key specifications include: - Ion Source Cabinet dimensions: 66” x 55” x 120” - High Voltage Platform dimensions: 49” x 39” x 50” - Annex dimensions: 38” x 37” x 42” - The high voltage platform operates at 50 kVDC from ground and includes a 208 VAC 3-phase electrical distribution system. - Fabrication must conform to applicable Occupational Safety and Health regulations and National Electrical Code standards. Equipment must have NRTL certification to U.S. standards. All panels and wiring must conform to UL508A Edition 3 standards.
