Creative Arts Building ADA & HVAC Upgrades

Background

The State of Colorado, through the Office of the State Architect and the State Buildings Program, is issuing this solicitation for the Creative Arts Building ADA & HVAC Upgrades project. The goal of this contract is to enhance accessibility and improve HVAC systems in compliance with current standards, ensuring that the facility meets the needs of all users while adhering to state regulations.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services necessary for the successful completion of the ADA and HVAC upgrades at the Creative Arts Building. This includes but is not limited to: 1. Upgrading existing HVAC systems to meet current energy efficiency standards. 2. Modifying building entrances and pathways to ensure compliance with ADA accessibility requirements. 3. Installation of new heating and cooling units as specified in the detailed specifications. 4. Coordination with local authorities for necessary permits and inspections. 5. Adhering to safety regulations throughout the construction process.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a period of 12 months from the date of Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance

The work will be conducted at the Creative Arts Building located in Colorado.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide evidence of compliance with state licensing requirements, insurance coverage including general liability and workers' compensation, and must demonstrate experience with similar projects. Additionally, contractors are required to employ Colorado labor as defined by state law.
