Background The Bureau of Reclamation is issuing this solicitation for the Arkansas Valley Conduit - Crowley Reach 1 project, which is part of the Fryingpan-Arkansas Project in Colorado. The mission of the Bureau is to manage water resources and provide reliable water supply and delivery systems. The goal of this contract is to construct water supply facilities that will enhance the infrastructure for water delivery in the region. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for various construction tasks including: - Mobilization and preparatory work - Trench construction within narrow rights-of-way - Removal of water from excavation - Trenchless crossings - Cathodic protection - Pipe bedding and embedment - Leak testing pipelines - Traffic control management - Maintaining property access - Fiber optic installation. Specific tasks include identifying methods to move and store excavated materials, providing assumed disposal sites for excess materials, describing approaches for unwatering and dewatering, detailing planned methods for trenchless crossings, developing approval drawings for cathodic protection, managing potentially contaminated material testing, and coordinating fiber optic installation.
