TC Multi-Facility Parking Structure Repairs

Background

The University of Minnesota, through its Board of Regents, is seeking proposals for construction services aimed at repairing various parking facilities across the Twin Cities campus. This initiative is part of the University’s commitment to maintaining and enhancing its infrastructure to support its mission.

Work Details

The scope of work includes repairs at several parking ramps and garages identified during annual structural inspections. Specific tasks include: - Post-Tensioning (PT) repairs - Partial depth concrete patches - Snow dump improvements at Gortner Ave Ramp - Expansion joint repairs - Construction joint repairs Additional details can be found in the attached construction drawings and specifications.

Period of Performance

The project must be substantially completed by September 4, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at various parking facilities located throughout the Twin Cities campus of the University of Minnesota.

Bidder Requirements

Respondents must comply with Minnesota Statutes regarding responsible contractor certification, including verification of compliance with workers' compensation and unemployment insurance requirements. Contractors must also meet minimum criteria set forth in Minnesota Statutes, Section 16C.285, which includes compliance with prevailing wage laws.
