Background

The County of Sussex is seeking a contractor to enter into a one-year full coverage service contract for the maintenance of eleven elevators. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and safety of the elevators located at various county facilities, including the Judicial Center, Administrative Center, and Historic Courthouse.

Work Details

The contractor will provide full coverage elevator maintenance services for 11 elevators across several locations. Services include: - Scheduled service work during regular working hours (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays). - Emergency services available at any time. - Maintenance of specific elevators as follows:

Judicial Center

5 Passenger Elevators and 3 Public Elevators. - KDCF #1: 2 Passenger Elevators.

Administrative Center

1 Public Elevator.

Wheatsworth Road

1 Public Elevator and materials. - A one-time allowance for initial purchase of spare parts valued at $2,000. This allowance is not guaranteed and requires prior written authorization from the County.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a one-year period, with potential extensions based on performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various locations in Sussex County, New Jersey, including the Judicial Center, Administrative Center, KDCF #1, Wheatsworth Road, and Historic Courthouse.
