O'Neil Building Chiller Replacement

Work Details

The project involves the demolition and replacement of the existing chiller and associated equipment and piping serving the O’Neil and Supreme Court Clerk buildings with an air-cooled chiller. Specific tasks include: 1. Demolition of existing chiller system. 2. Installation of new air-cooled chiller. 3. Replacement of associated piping and equipment necessary for operation.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to be performed starting after the bid opening on June 18th, 2026, with specific timelines to be determined during the pre-bid meeting.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the O'Neil Building and Supreme Court Clerk buildings located in Dover, Delaware.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on May 27th, 2026, to establish a list of subcontractors and ask questions. Each bid must include a bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount and all additive alternates. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond and payment bond equal to 100 percent of the contract price upon execution of the contract. Bidders are encouraged to be M/WBE, DBE, WBE, or VBE certified.
