Background The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region, is issuing this solicitation for weed control services within the Snake River Area Office (SRAO). The mission of the Bureau is to manage water resources in the western United States. This contract aims to maintain and control noxious weeds on undeveloped lands to promote environmental health and conservation. Work Details The contractor will provide weed control services on all undeveloped Reclamation lands within the SRAO. Key tasks include: 1) Submission of a detailed Work Plan within 7 working days of award approval, outlining methods for weed control including herbicide types and application timing; 2) Safe application of herbicides at optimal times as per the approved Work Plan; 3) Provision of a year-end report summarizing work performed, pesticide usage, and costs; 4) GPS documentation of application areas with electronic file submission; 5) Photo documentation showing conditions before and after treatment with geo-tagged images. The contractor must ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintain current documentation for pesticide use, and adhere to environmental laws. Period of Performance The contract will have a base year from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, with four optional years extending through June 30, 2031. Place of Performance Work will be performed on undeveloped lands managed by the Bureau of Reclamation within the Snake River Area Office.
