Ragan and E Russell Culvert Replacements

Background

The City of High Point, North Carolina is issuing this contract for the Ragan and E Russell Culvert Replacements as part of their infrastructure improvement initiatives. The goal of this contract is to enhance local drainage systems and ensure efficient water management through the construction of new culverts and associated utilities.

Work Details

The contractor will provide personnel, equipment, and materials to construct the Ragan and E Russell Culvert Replacements. The scope of work includes: - Approximately 70 total linear feet (LF) of various size precast box culverts; - 85 LF of 8-inch water line; - 200 LF of 8-inch sewer line; - 100 tons of various grade asphalt; - 400 square yards (SY) of asphalt milling; - Clearing; and - Other miscellaneous items associated with the contract plans and specifications.

Period of Performance

The contract performance period is expected to commence upon award and will be completed by June 17, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed in High Point, North Carolina.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with the requirements set forth in the 'An Act to regulate the Practice of General Contractors' as ratified by the General Assembly of North Carolina. A certified check or bid bond is required at the time of proposal submission, along with a separate performance and payment bond each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price after bid award.
