The Maryland School for the Deaf is seeking to procure 39 Cisco Access Points along with associated mounting hardware. This procurement falls under a Small Business Reserve Procurement, meaning that only certified small business vendors are eligible to submit bids. The goal of this contract is to enhance the network communication capabilities of the school, ensuring reliable connectivity for its operations.

Work Details

The contract involves the purchase of the following items: 1. 39 units of Cisco Wireless 9176I Access Points (Model: CW9176I-CFG) - a three-band, four-stream device designed for high-density environments. 2. 39 units of Low Profile Mounting Brackets (Model: AIR-AP-BRACKET-1) for installation of the access points. 3. 28 units of Ceiling Grid Clips (Model: AIR-AP-T-RAIL-R) for securing access points and cellular gateways in recessed installations. 4. 11 units of T-Rail Channel Adapters (Model: AIR-CHNL-ADAPTER) compatible with Cisco Aironet Access Points.

Period of Performance

The expected delivery date for all items is June 15, 2026.

Place of Performance

The contract will be performed at the Maryland School for the Deaf located at 101 Clarke Pl, Frederick, MD 21701.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be registered as certified small businesses under the Small Business Reserve Program and must be authorized resellers for Cisco products. Additionally, bidders are required to provide a Letter of Authorization from Cisco if requested and include a screenshot of the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) with their bid.
