Work Details

The supplier will be responsible for all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment necessary to perform routine cleaning services at the Dubuque Outreach Clinic located at 777 Mazzuchelli St, Dubuque, IA. Cleaning services are required Monday through Friday after clinic hours starting at 5:00 PM. Specific tasks include: - Daily cleaning of vestibules, reception areas, patient waiting areas, corridors, restrooms, staff locker rooms, private offices, conference rooms, exam rooms, procedure rooms, and break rooms. - Weekly dusting and cleaning of baseboards. - Monthly thorough cleaning behind movable furniture. - Semi-annual carpet shampooing and interior window cleaning. - Emergency cleaning services as needed. The supplier must provide all necessary cleaning equipment (e.g., maid carts, mops) and utilize specified cleaning products such as Virex Plus and Prominence Floor Cleaner. The University will supply consumable products like toilet tissue and hand soap.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and is intended for a period of one year with the possibility of four additional one-year extensions based on mutual agreement.

The services will be performed at the Dubuque Outreach Clinic located at 777 Mazzuchelli St, Dubuque, IA.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be licensed to do business in the State of Iowa. They are required to complete background checks for all personnel assigned to the contract prior to service commencement. Additionally, bidders should demonstrate relevant experience in cleaning medical facilities over the past ten years and provide references from similar institutions.
