Background

The Wandering Prospector Project, identified as DQ1 PKAA 2026*0476, is initiated by the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety. Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Mobilization/Demobilization - 1 Lump Sum 2. SHEAP (Safety, Health, & Environmental Action Plan) - 1 Lump Sum 3. Install Mine Closures - 1 Lump Sum, which includes various closure methods such as backfilling with polyurethane foam (PUF), concrete monolithic plugs, and native rock bulkheads for shafts and adits. Specific features include: - WP-02: Shaft closure with 4CY Rockfill and 10CY PUF - WP-04: Shaft Polyurethane Foam Plug (5CY) - WP-16: Adit Grated Closure with Slot Bat Gate 4. Additional Polyurethane Foam - 2 Cubic Yards (if required) 5. Additional Equipment Rental for Mini Excavator - 4 Hours (if required). All work must comply with the project’s SHEAP requirements, including safety training, substance abuse screening, and proactive safety measures.
