Background

The Mid-Region Council of Governments (MRCOG) is seeking licensed and qualified Pest Control Service companies to submit bids for pest control services at various facilities including MRCOG, the Rio Metro Regional Transit District (RMRTD), and the Work Force Connections of Central New Mexico (WCCNM). The goal is to ensure effective pest management across these locations, which are detailed in the solicitation documents.

Work Details

The scope of work includes: 1. Spraying interior and exterior areas of facilities, including office spaces, basements, and dumpster areas for nuisance insects and rodents based on seasonal activity. 2. Baiting traps inside and outside all listed facilities for safe disposal of insects and rodents. 3. Using appropriate insect sprays that are safe around personnel in office/industrial environments. 4. A certified/licensed applicator must be present during each visit. 5. Pest Control Certification and proof of insurance are required at the time of quote submission. 6. Services are required every two months in spring/summer and once in winter or as needed. The current facility locations include MRCOG (21,150 sq. ft.), RMRTD (two locations: Sandoval Bus Facility - 5,000 sq. ft., Valencia County Transit Facility - 8,600 sq. ft.), and WCCNM (three locations: America’s Job Center - Albuquerque - 24,000 sq. ft., America’s Job Center - Rio Rancho - 5,809 sq. ft., America’s Job Center - Los Lunas - 2,010 sq. ft.).

Period of Performance

The contract term will begin upon final signature and will last for four years unless terminated earlier under specified conditions.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various locations in New Mexico including Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, and Los Lunas.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide proof of Pest Control Certification and insurance at the time of quote submission. They must also comply with affirmative action/equal employment opportunity regulations as outlined in Appendix 5, submit anti-lobbying certification as per Appendix 3, provide debarment certification as per Appendix 4, and disclose any campaign contributions as per Appendix 6.
