26-13 Forced Hot Air Installation

Background

The Town of Ridgefield is seeking qualified mechanical contractors to undertake a project aimed at improving heating systems within their Public Works Garages. The goal of this contract is to enhance the efficiency and reliability of heating by replacing outdated equipment with modern gas-fired unit heaters.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the removal of existing forced hot air furnaces and the installation of new gas-fired unit heaters, specifically Modine or an approved equal brand. This work will take place at the Public Works Garages, which include Buildings 1 & 2 located at 60 South Street, Ridgefield, Connecticut. The contractor must provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete this project.

Period of Performance

The contract performance period is from May 12, 2026, to July 02, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the Public Works Garages (Buildings 1 & 2) located at 60 South Street, Ridgefield, Connecticut.

Bidder Requirements

Bids are open to all vendors; however, bidders must be qualified mechanical contractors capable of fulfilling the requirements outlined in the solicitation.
