DFCM Construction: UU Huntsman Vineyard Campus Phase 1A-Package #9

Background

This solicitation is issued by Layton Construction Company for the UU Huntsman Vineyard Campus Phase 1A project, which includes a Central Utility Plant, Clinic, and Research Building. The overall project encompasses approximately 31,000 sqft for the Central Utility Plant, 148,000 sqft for the Clinic, and 93,000 sqft for the Research Building, along with 18 acres of site development. The goal of this contract is to procure various construction services necessary for the completion of this extensive project.

Work Details

The contract includes the following scopes of work: - Drywall installation - Fire Sprinkler systems - Mechanical systems installation - Plumbing services - Electrical work including low voltage systems - Pneumatic Tube systems. All subcontractors must submit a prequalification prior to bidding and agree to Layton's Subcontract Agreement without modification.

Period of Performance

The project is anticipated to start in April 2026 and be substantially complete by June 2028.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the UU Huntsman Vineyard Campus location.

Bidder Requirements

All bidders are required to confirm that their bid is within their Layton Prequalification project limits. Bidders must also agree to Layton's Subcontract Agreement prior to bidding. A virtual prebid meeting will be held on May 13th, 2026. All questions must be submitted via email to Carter Nye by May 22nd, 2026.
