Background The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO 21) is seeking vendors to provide onsite Perfusion Services, including on-call and emergency call-back coverage, for the San Francisco Veteran Affairs Health Care System (SFVAHCS). This initiative aims to ensure that veterans receive timely and effective perfusion services as part of their healthcare. Work Details The contractor shall provide Perfusion/Autotransfusion Services onsite to beneficiaries of the VA at the SFVAHCS. The services must comply with the specifications outlined in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor is required to adhere to various VA policies and directives during the performance of these services. Specific tasks include: 1. Providing perfusion services during surgical procedures. 2. Ensuring compliance with VA Directive 1663 regarding Health Care Resources Contracting. 3. Maintaining communication with healthcare providers and patients as per VHA Directive 1088(1). 4. Participating in credentialing and privileging processes as outlined in VHA Directive 1100.21. Period of Performance Base year from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.
