Work Details

The contract involves the purchase and delivery of four (4) new and unused Tandem axle, Deck over, tag along backhoe trailers. The trailers must meet specific requirements including: - A minimum main deck length of 20 feet and a maximum of 22 feet. - A beaver tail length between 60 inches and 72 inches. - A payload capacity of at least 40,000 lbs. - A deck width not exceeding 102 inches. Additional specifications include: - A tongue length between 60 inches and 76 inches. - A maximum deck height of 32 inches when loaded. - Hardwood decking at least 2 inches thick. - Two ladder-style ramps with specific dimensions and features. - An I-beam rail construction for the main frame. - At least ten D-rings for securing loads. The trailers must also have adequate suspension systems with self-adjusting air brakes on at least one axle.
