Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the installation of one (1) new natural gas-fired generator, an automatic transfer switch, and associated panelboards. The project specifications are organized according to the Construction Specification Institute numbering system, covering various divisions including procurement requirements, general requirements, and specific construction tasks related to HVAC and electrical systems.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on May 27, 2026. Each bid must include a bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount. Successful bidders are required to post a performance bond and payment bond equal to 100 percent of the contract price upon execution of the contract. Bidders must also comply with Delaware's regulations regarding drug testing for employees working on public works projects.
