CO Skilled Trades Classroom Equipment

Background

The Ohio Department of Youth Services (DYS) is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of skilled trades classroom equipment to be delivered to three different facilities: CJCF, IRJCF, and CHJCF. The goal of this contract is to enhance the educational resources available for skilled trades training within these facilities.

Work Details

The contractor will provide the following equipment: 1. Standard Duty Tool Utility Cart 2. General Purpose Hand Trucks (2) 3. Mobile Cabinets with Workbench Tops (3) 4. Platform Trucks (4) 5. Utility Carts (6) 6. Cylinder Storage Cabinet (1) 7. Universal Tilt TV Mounts (3) 8. Desk Pedestals (3) 9. Hand-Held Metal Detectors (3). Additionally, shipping fees are included in the bid. All items must meet specified dimensions and load capacities as outlined in the solicitation.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be fulfilled by May 27, 2026.

Place of Performance

Delivery will occur at three facilities located in Circleville, Ohio: CJCF (Circleville Juvenile Correctional Facility), IRJCF (Indian River Juvenile Correctional Facility), and CHJCF (Cleveland Juvenile Correctional Facility).

Bidder Requirements

This solicitation is set aside for Minority Business Enterprises (MBE). Only bidders with an active MBE certification at the time of solicitation closure are eligible to submit a response.
