The current lighting system is nonfunctional and requires replacement. The goal of this contract is to ensure a safe, functional, and compliant environment for staff by installing a new solar-powered street lighting system that meets or exceeds performance requirements. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to replace the existing street lighting system with seventeen (17) new solar-powered commercial LED street lights. The scope includes: 1. Demolition: Safely disconnecting and removing nonfunctional components; transporting debris to an approved landfill; sealing all penetrations to ensure watertight integrity. 2. Replacement of necessary components in compliance with manufacturer specifications and operational standards. 3. Conducting system startup, performance evaluation, and functional testing to confirm operational readiness; providing staff training on operation and maintenance of the system. 4. Cleaning and restoring work areas while minimizing disruption to facility operations. Period of Performance The contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed and complete the work within 120 calendar days.
