Background The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and the Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization intend to negotiate a sole source contract with Chicago-Soft Ltd for brand name Software Maintenance Support. The goal of this contract is to procure software maintenance and support for the MVS/QUICK-REF software used in DISA's mainframe environment, which has been provided by Chicago-Soft Ltd for the past five years under contract number HC102821P0099. Chicago-Soft Ltd is currently the only source capable of providing all necessary services, as justified by statutory authority 10 USC 2304 (c) (1).
