General System Description

The Intelli Blate Microwave Ablation System is a software-controlled microwave therapy delivery platform intended for the coagulation (ablation) of soft tissues. The system utilizes microwave energy to produce controlled, spherical ablation zones and features integrated cooling, real-time temperature monitoring, and advanced probe placement functions. Generator (Console) Specifications - Operating Frequency 2.45 GHz 50 MHz - Ablation Channels Must support at least two (2) independent ablation channels, allowing for single-probe, dual-independent, or dual-linked probe operations

Output Power Single Channel

0 to 90 Watts. Dual Channel: 0 to 80 Watts per channel (up to 160 Watts linked) - Power Adjustments Output power must be adjustable in 5-Watt increments. - Safety Shut off Must feature an automatic system shutdown if probe temperatures or reflected power exceed established safety limits - Dimensions & Weight Console alone must weigh no more than 40 lbs. (approx. 38 lbs.) for portability and mount securely to a customized mobile cart User Interface & Display - Monitor 15.6-inch foldable, high-resolution color touchscreen - Ergonomics Screen must be capable of swiveling 180 degrees (CW/CCW) to allow visibility from any operating position. Must be fully operable with gloved hands or through a sterile drape - Visual Feedback Interface must provide real-time tracking of time, tip power, reflected energy (power), and multi-point temperature data

Integrated Cooling System

- Pump Mechanism Must feature two (2) fully integrated peristaltic pumps built directly into the console (one for each ablation channel) - Coolant Compatibility Must be compatible with standard, user-supplied sterile water or 0.9% saline (1000 mL bags or greater) - Cassette Loading Must utilize a drop-in, integrated fluid cassette system to streamline coolant delivery and prevent setup errors Probe Assembly Characteristics (Ximitry Probes) - Antenna Profile 13.5 Gauge (2.3 mm diameter) fiberglass shaft with a ceramic trocar tip - Available Lengths Must be available in at least three lengths: 15 cm, 20 cm, and 27 cm - Integrated Temperature Sensing Probe must contain at least three (3) integrated thermocouples along the shaft and two (2) internal temperature sensors within the handle for continuous, real-time thermal feedback - Cable Management Must utilize a single-cable bundle that integrates both the RF power cable and the coolant tubing (supply and return lines) into one cord - Visual Indicators Probe handles must include integrated LED indicators to visually signal when microwave energy is actively being delivered

Advanced Clinical Workflow Features

- Needle Lock Must include a feature that delivers a short, calculated burst of microwave energy to secure the radiating section of the probe to the tissue, mitigating accidental probe migration during setup or intra-procedural imaging - Tract Ablation Must include a specific track ablation/cauterization mode to safely ablate the tissue along the insertion tract (4-10 mm) during probe retraction to prevent bleeding and tumor seeding. - External Temperature Monitoring System must support the connection of up to two (2) remote/external Temperature Sensor Probes to monitor collateral tissue temperatures independently from the ablation probes - System Integration Must be capable of integrating with advanced 3D planning and laser guidance software (e.g., my Ablation Guide, my Needle Companion) and support laser alignment discs on the probe handles.
