Background The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) is issuing this Request for Quote (RFQ) for the coating and painting of M48A1 filter components in support of Pine Bluff Arsenal (PBA). The goal of this contract is to ensure that all materials are cleaned, treated, and coated according to specified military standards, thereby maintaining the operational readiness and safety of military equipment. Work Details The contractor is required to clean, coat, and paint metal parts as per the provided drawings and specifications. The specific tasks include: 1. Cleaning and treating all materials according to Table 1 specifications. 2. Delivering shipments in multiple configurations as produced; parts may be sent individually or as kits. 3. Providing a Certificate of Conformance with each shipment, detailing chemicals and paints used that comply with Mil-Std-171. 4. Ensuring that certain parts are free from paint as specified in the drawings. The contractor will handle six different part numbers requiring treatment, which can be shipped in batches based on prior arrangements. Period of Performance The contract will commence upon award and will last for one year, with an option for an additional year thereafter. Place of Performance The work will primarily take place at Pine Bluff Arsenal.
