Background The Government is seeking to replace the HVAC systems at Buildings 590 and 591 at Joint Base San Antonio - Fort Sam Houston (JBSA-FSH) due to the existing systems reaching the end of their operational life cycle. The contractor will provide all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control to ensure reliable and efficient operation of these facilities for the 502d Civil Engineer Squadron (502CES). Work Details The contractor shall replace existing HVAC systems (SPX ReCold, Model: MW-30C, Serial: MW-10063716-A2) with a 'brand name or equal' system. Specific tasks include: - Provide and install two (2) new 'brand name or equal' fluid coolers (cooling towers). - Provide and install two (2) new cooling tower pumps with motors. - Provide and install two (2) new control panels for each building. - Supply all necessary piping, valves, fittings, electrical conduit, wiring, and controls. - Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and standards during installation. - Conduct a water leak detection test on all new piping witnessed by the Government Point of Contact (GPOC). - Provide a one-year warranty on all materials and labor.
