This special notice is for C-130H Formation Position System (FPS) Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) and Production and Deployment (P&D) support. The purpose of this notice is to provide potential Offerors information regarding the program requirements and to facilitate industry review and maximize the quality of market research. This notice is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a formal solicitation or guarantee of contract award. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Production of up to 51 kits for the C-130H aircraft; 2. Contractor Field Team (CFT) installation on up to 51 aircraft; 3. Providing Type 1 and installation training; 4. Initial spares; 5. Support Equipment (SE) deployment; 6. Updates for 5 Weapon System Trainers (WSTs); 7. Training courseware updates; 8. Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for sustainment of the FPS system after installation during the contract period of performance. Additionally, the contractor must develop, implement, deliver, and maintain an Acceptance Test Plan (ATP), conduct Program Management Reviews (PMRs), manage risks through a Risks, Issues, & Opportunities Management Plan (RIOMP), and ensure compliance with various Air Force instructions and standards throughout the project.
