Background

Clemson University is seeking a one-time purchase of a portable, rugged, high-range medical ultrasound machine and probes for use in maternity care within a dedicated mobile maternity unit (MMU). The goal of this contract is to enhance maternity care services by providing a reliable ultrasound system capable of operating in various locations across South Carolina.

Work Details

The contract includes the provision of the following equipment: - 1 Point of Care medical ultrasound machine - 2 Curvilinear probes - 2 Transvaginal probes The ultrasound system must support both transabdominal and transvaginal imaging, be compatible with obstetrics and gynecological services, and securely transmit images in real time to Self Regional Healthcare PACS. Additional requirements include: - Superior image quality for diagnostic decisions in obstetric and gynecological care. - A portable stand that is height adjustable and easily maneuverable. - Easy cleaning surfaces to support infection control. - A keyboard resistant to fluids. - Smart cord storage with a charging station. - Ergonomic setup with an elevated touch display. - Capability for pulsed wave Doppler and color flow Doppler imaging. - Support for 3D and 4D imaging for obstetrics care. - High-quality needle guidance system. - Data security measures including user authentication and data encryption. Additionally, the bid must include costs for a second set of probes and additional recommended probes for obstetric applications. An ultrasound probe disinfection machine is also required, which must provide automated high-level disinfection for surface and endocavity probes.

Period of Performance

The contract will be executed as a one-time purchase with delivery expected upon completion of the bidding process.
