Contract Requirements

- Contract time is 60 working days. - The contract will be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder based on published quantities. - All bidders are notified that minority business enterprises will be given full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. - The project must be constructed in accordance with the latest edition of the Mississippi Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction.

Instructions on Submission

- Sealed bids will be received until 9:30 AM on June 9, 2026, at the office of the Board of Supervisors of Simpson County, Mississippi. Bids will be publicly opened shortly thereafter. - Plans and specifications are available for review at the Office of the Chancery Clerk of Simpson County, the LSBP Engineer's office at 660 Katherine Drive, Suite 302, Flowood, MS 39232, and the Office of the State Aid Engineer, 412 E. Woodrow Wilson Avenue, Jackson, MS. - Plans and specifications may also be viewed on the Simpson County Website by clicking Online Bidding or at Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com under Simpson County. - Sealed bids must be submitted in person as required per the Contract Documents.
