The City of North Las Vegas is seeking bids from qualified Respondents for an award to provide Traffic Control Setups citywide. The goal of this contract is to ensure effective traffic management for internal projects, excluding Capital Improvement Projects (CIP). Work Details

The selected Respondent will provide Traffic Control for internal projects, including 24/7 emergency response. Key responsibilities include: - Providing Traffic Control plans within 3 working days after submission by the City, ensuring compliance with the latest edition of MUTCD/State mandates. - A one-hour response time upon notification from the City. - Coordination of flagging operations and setup plans that include all necessary equipment. - Certified personnel must be provided to complete the Scope of Work. - Work hours vary by location, with specific restrictions for school zones and major roads. For example, work in school zones is typically restricted to 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., while other locations may have different permitted hours depending on traffic conditions.

Period of Performance

The contract will begin on the Effective Date and have a term of three years with two one-year extensions at the sole discretion of the City Manager.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed citywide in North Las Vegas, Nevada.

Bidder Requirements

Respondents must provide a copy of all appropriate licenses as required by Nevada law prior to submission of bids. Upon award, the successful Respondent will be required to obtain a North Las Vegas Business License. Additionally, all Respondents must certify that they are not currently engaged in a boycott of Israel as per NRS 332.065(4).
