Pascagoula School District Pre-Bid Meeting

Background

The Pascagoula-Gautier School District is issuing a solicitation for construction services to replace roofs at various school facilities. The goal of this contract is to ensure the integrity and safety of the school buildings by updating their roofing systems as specified in the project documents.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for roof replacements at the following locations: 1) Beach Elementary School located at 633 Market St, Pascagoula, MS 39567; 2) Gautier Middle School located at 1920 Graveline Rd, Gautier, MS 39553; 3) Colmer Middle School located at 3112 Eden St, Pascagoula, MS 39581; 4) Information Systems Department (ISD) located at 1520 Tucker Ave, Pascagoula, MS 39567. The work must adhere to the drawings and specifications provided in the bid documents. Bidders are required to obtain these documents from the Architect's plan room website upon payment of a non-refundable deposit.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to be completed within a timeframe that aligns with the project schedule leading up to the bid opening on May 14, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at multiple locations within Pascagoula and Gautier, Mississippi.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or certified check amounting to no less than 5% of the bid amount. Additionally, bids exceeding $50,000 must include the contractor's Mississippi certificate of responsibility number and proof of Mississippi license. Non-resident contractors must submit documentation regarding their state's treatment of non-resident contractors.
