Zupp Park Play Area Improvements

Background

The City of College Park is seeking a qualified contractor to undertake construction improvements at Zupp Park, located at 1622 Hawthorne Ave, College Park, Georgia. The project aims to enhance the park's aesthetics, optimize site utilization, and ensure compliance with ADA accessibility standards.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Construction of a new play area including installation of playground equipment that meets safety standards. 2. Landscaping improvements to enhance the visual appeal of the park. 3. Installation of pathways and seating areas that comply with ADA regulations. 4. General site preparation and grading as necessary for the construction activities.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a period of one year, with an option to renew for four additional one-year periods.

All work will be conducted at Zupp Park, located at 1622 Hawthorne Ave, College Park, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide proof of relevant professional licenses for electricians, plumbers, conditioned air contractors, and low-voltage contractors if applicable. Additionally, bidders are required to submit a bid bond of no less than 5% of the bid amount and a performance bond for 100% of the contract amount upon award. The contractor must also maintain insurance coverage including Workers' Compensation, Business Auto Policy, Commercial General Liability, and Professional Liability as specified.
