Construction of 0056 Mile Box Culvert and Approaches

Background

The contract is issued by the Itawamba County Board of Supervisors in Mississippi, under the Office of State Aid Road Construction (OSARC). The goal of the contract is to construct a 0.056 mile box culvert and approaches on Ozark Baptist Road, as part of the State Aid Bridge Program Project No. SABP-29(01). Reinforcing Steel

10 EA. Erosion Control Items include Agricultural Limestone, Commercial Fertilizer, Ammonium Nitrate, Seeding, Solid Sodding, Excelsior Blanket, Temporary Silt Fence, Wattles, Loose Riprap, and Geotextile Under Riprap.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a period of 120 working days from the start date.

Place of Performance

The construction will take place on Ozark Baptist Road in Itawamba County, Mississippi.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit a certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount made payable to Itawamba County and the State of Mississippi. Bids will only be accepted under the name of the bidder to whom plans and proposals have been issued by the County Engineer.
