Background

Wharton-Smith, Inc. is the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the OB Curtis Water Treatment Plant – Raw Water Pump Replacement Project, which is being performed for JXN Water. The goal of this contract is to solicit competitive bids from qualified firms for the defined bid packages related to this project scope of work.

Work Details

The project involves the replacement of raw water pumps at the O.B. Curtis Water Treatment Plant. Bidders are encouraged to submit proposals for the bid packages they are qualified to perform. Specific details regarding the scope of work and bid packages will be provided in the bid documents.

Period of Performance

The project schedule will be based on pump delivery lead times, with bids due on 05/14/2026 at 2:00 PM CST.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at O.B. Curtis WTP, located at 100 OB Curtis Drive, Ridgeland, MS 39157.

Bidder Requirements

The project has MBE/WBE fair share objectives of 3.1% MBE and 1.1% WBE. Bidders must submit all questions electronically by 04/29/2026 at 5:00 PM CST and must submit their proposals electronically by the specified due date.
