The Biloxi Public School District, through its Office of Special Education, is seeking proposals for school-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to comply with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Mississippi Policies and Procedures State Board Policy 7219 regarding children with disabilities. The goal is to implement effective ABA services that support students with disabilities in achieving their educational goals.
The contractor will provide a range of school-based ABA services including: evaluation, direct treatment, indirect treatment, parent training, supervision for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), modeling, classroom observations, functional behavioral assessments (FBA/BIPs), and consultations as specified in students' Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Services must align with IDEA and Mississippi Policies and Procedures. Specific tasks include: evidence-based practices in school-based services; compliance with relevant laws; maintaining student data for progress reporting; providing specialized training for staff and parents; and delivering services during the 2026-2027 school year and extended school year as necessary. Providers must be Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) in good standing and supervise RBTs according to BACB requirements.
The contract will be performed during the 2026-2027 school year and may extend into the summer as necessary.
Services will be provided within the Biloxi Public School District in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Bidders must hold valid licenses in the State of Mississippi for providing contracted services, pass background checks including child abuse registry checks, provide proof of general and professional liability insurance as well as worker’s compensation insurance, and indemnify the District against claims arising from the contract. Additionally, bidders must submit a list of references from school districts and ensure all employees interacting with students have completed required background checks.
