FY27 JEHCC Trash Removal Services

Background

The Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) Central Purchasing division is seeking responses on behalf of the Oklahoma Department of Corrections to establish a contract for solid waste removal services at the Jim E. Hamilton Correctional Center, located at 53468 Mineral Springs Rd, Hodgen, OK 74939-3064. This contract aims to ensure efficient waste management in support of the agency's operations.

Work Details

The contractor shall provide all solid waste hauling and disposal services at the Jim E. Hamilton Correctional Center (JEHCC). Specifically, the contractor will: 1. Remove solid waste from an agency-owned 30-yard compactor, which will be hauled once a month and additionally as needed; 2. Ensure all solid waste is disposed of in a state-approved landfill; 3. Require all employees involved in waste removal to carry valid identification.

Period of Performance

The initial contract term begins on July 1, 2026, for a duration of one year.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at the Jim E. Hamilton Correctional Center located in Hodgen, Oklahoma.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must demonstrate their ability to meet or exceed mandatory specifications outlined in Exhibit 3 - Scope of Work. The evaluation criteria include price, past performance, and ability to supply services.
