Background

The City of Austin is seeking contractors to provide citywide painting services. Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive painting services, which include but are not limited to: surface preparation, priming, and painting of interior and exterior surfaces of city buildings. The contractor must ensure that all work complies with applicable safety regulations and standards. The contractor is also required to provide all necessary equipment, tools, and materials for the completion of the work.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a period of 12 months from the date of award, with potential extensions based on performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at various locations throughout the City of Austin as designated by the city representatives.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must hold valid licenses for painting services in Texas and comply with local business regulations. Additionally, bidders should demonstrate experience in similar projects and provide references. Compliance with M/WBE participation goals as set by the City of Austin may also be required.
