Background The Joint Propeller Sustainment Solution (JPSS) is a contract issued by the United States Air Force (USAF) aimed at providing comprehensive sustainment solutions for propeller systems. The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational readiness and reliability of propeller systems through various engineering, maintenance, and support services. This includes managing supply chains, performing inspections, and executing repairs as necessary to maintain high performance standards. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for a range of tasks as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Key tasks include: - Providing sustainment engineering services as per PWS paragraphs 2.0, 3.1, 3.2, 4.0, 5.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.4, 7.5, 7.6, 10.0, 11.0. - Conducting inspections and acceptance testing at the origin with required receiving reports. - Ensuring quality assurance through commercial item inspection protocols. - Managing supply chain logistics and procurement of spare components and materials as specified in PWS paragraphs 8.1 and 8.2. - Performing non-recurring engineering tasks as detailed in PWS paragraph 3.2. - Implementing travel and per diem arrangements as necessary for field service representatives (FSRs) under PWS paragraph 6.1. - Engaging in repair activities that may include over & above (O&A) excluded repairs as ordered per PWS paragraph 7.3. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is set for a duration of twelve months (12 MO), with options for renewal or extension based on the needs of the USAF. Place of Performance The work will be performed at various locations determined by the USAF requirements including both CONUS (Continental United States) and OCONUS (Outside Continental United States) sites.
