Background The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, is conducting a Sources Sought Notice to gather information on the availability of brand name items for a construction project at Fort George G. Meade, MD. The purpose of this notice is to notify potential Offerors of the Army's intent to solicit brand name only components and to identify sources that can provide these items or equivalent products. If no equivalent products are available, the Army intends to contract sole source for the brand name items under the authority of RFO 6.103-1(b), which allows for procurement from only one responsible source when no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Work Details The construction project will include the following brand name only equipment: 1) Global Grab 300 vehicle barrier (and associated electrical/control components); 2) Versilis VSG-40 traffic control arms; 3) Perimeter Security Minotaur K12 rated crash gate.
