See solicitation for details. In order to attend the site visit, you are required to pre-register. Attendance at the site visit will be limited to no more than two (2) representatives per company. The site visit will be held for the purpose of providing contractors with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the site which may be helpful in the preparation of offers. Attendance at the site visit is not mandatory for offer submission; however, failure to visit the site will not relieve or mitigate the successful contractors responsibility and obligation to fully comply with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained and/or referenced in this document. Background The 911th Airlift Wing, Air Reserve Station (ARS) is issuing a solicitation for a project to replace the chiller in Building 418 located in Coraopolis, PA. The goal of this contract is to ensure the efficient operation of the facility's cooling system by installing a new Carrier brand chiller that integrates with the Siemens Desigo Building Automation System (BAS). This project is set as a 100% Small Business set-aside and will result in a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Work Details The contractor is required to provide all materials, labor, supervision, and equipment necessary for the following tasks: 1. Mobilization and Site Preparation: Mobilize personnel, equipment, and materials to the project site; establish a safe work area with necessary barriers or signage. 2. Temporary Cooling: Provide a temporary cooling facility and chiller to maintain service during the project. 3. Chiller Replacement: Remove the existing chiller and replace it with a new Carrier brand chiller capable of full integration with the Siemens Desigo BAS. The installation must comply with all applicable codes and standards including DoD Unified Facility Criteria, Air Force Engineering Technical Letters, and relevant OSHA regulations. 4. Piping Configuration: Shut off the chilled water loop, drain necessary water for piping work, and install tee and valving for chilled water to utilize the temporary unit while continuing installation work on the new chiller.
