Background

The Red Clay Consolidated School District is issuing a contract for renovations to Dickinson High School as part of GA Project No. 2501. The goal of this contract is to implement select mechanical, plumbing, and electrical (MPE) upgrades aimed at improving accessibility within the school facilities.

Work Details

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on May 19, 2026, at Stanton Middle School to establish subcontractor lists and address questions. Each bid must include a bid security of ten percent of the total bid amount. The successful bidder is required to post a performance bond and payment bond equal to 100 percent of the contract price upon execution of the contract. Bidders are encouraged to be Minority Business Enterprises, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, Women-Owned Business Enterprises, or Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises.
