The St. Helena Parish Police Jury is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide the following services:

Waterway Debris Removal

These services will be used to establish pre-event standby contracts to assist with Response, Logistics, and/or Recovery efforts in the event of natural or man-made disasters.

The solicitation is issued by the St. Helena Parish Police Jury.

Background

This contract aims to ensure that St. Helena Parish is prepared for effective debris removal and management in the aftermath of disasters, by having pre-qualified contractors ready to respond as needed.

Contract Requirements

- Firms must demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years of experience in disaster response. - Firms must provide five (5) government references. - Proposals will be evaluated based on:

Financial Stability

- Price (a major component of the evaluation) - Minority, women-owned, and small disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to participate. - Proposers must include a local and minority subcontracting plan to address the utilization of disadvantaged businesses.

Advertisement begins Sunday, May 10, 2026 - Questions: All inquiries must be submitted in writing to Roderick Matthews at rmatthews@sthelenaparish.la.gov no later than Wednesday, June 10, 2026 - Format: Submit seven (7) complete sets (one original, six copies) and one electronic copy on a USB flash drive.
